Impetuous Impulses [Finished]

Requirements:
Quest: The Lost City
Skills: 17 Hunter (83 for the big moolah).

Getting there:
To get to the Impetuous Impulses mini-game you will need to enter Zanaris (Lost City) via either the normal shed or the fairy ring. If entering through the fairy ring - head north-east until you reach the large wheat field. If coming in via the shed - head south west until you reach the wheat field. Anyway, here's the map:

Enter the crop circle in the center of the wheat field and you'll find yourself being abducted to a maze location.

Getting Started:
The when in there, ignore the little impling man and head to this nutcase:

This guy is the main guy for the whole minigame. His name is Elnock, he is the heart and soul of the minigame. Talk to him and ask whether he has any spare supplies and eventually he will give you a butterfly net, a few impling jars and a scroll. These are all necessities so don't drop anything at this stage. I'm not sure how many impling jars he gives but when you've finished speaking to this gnome - go hunting! Push through the wheat and catch some nooby implings to begin with such as the baby implings and DO NOT loot them. Right-click trade Elnock and you can then click to buy 3 impling jars. Continue to do this until you have around 10-20 jars.

The Process:
When you've got a lot of jars, I recommend hunting in this order. Firstly aim for the Essence Implings - catch three of these. Then catch some Eclectic Implings, 2 of these little guys, and finally catch the hardest of them all - the Nature Impling. Only one Nature Impling is required. Once you have these guys jarred, DO NOT loot them. Go back to Elnock and trade these jarred implings for a "Jar Generator". This is a necessity and will save a few trips to Elnock. Something to note: Imp Guardians can apparently take your implings yet Kyle and I are yet to experience this.

Secondly, once you have your Jar Generator - head back to the wheat fields. Catch 3 Gourmet Implings, 2 Earth Implings and 1 Essence Impling. This is the payment for the Magic Butterfly Net which'll cause you to fail less often.

The Implings:

Loot:
Baby Impling - Hammer, Needle, Ball of Wool, Thread, Chisel, Hammer, Knife, Hard Leather, Flax, Bowstring, Spice, Cheese, Cooked Lobster, Cooked Anchovies, Mud Pie, Air Talisman, Silver Bar, Seaweed, Sapphire

The most sought after Impling is the Dragon Impling who appears to be rare in the maze but has been sighted in the main world. If you have 83+ Hunter, you can catch it and loot it for it's Dragon Arrows/Darts. There is a lot of money here, every Dragon Impling could bring you from 10k - 150k.

couple of tactical additions from my very brief time spent playing the mini-game. I have seen dragon implings in the wheat maze, but they move fast as all get out. Most important thing that I figured out is that the imps respawn in the same spot each time after they are captured. For instance, there is a nature impling in the second most outter ring in the southeast corner, and if you camp there and are quick, you can just keep snagging him spawn after respawn.

It might be useful to alch in the corners while waiting for the top 3 imps to appear.
